Nebo Redline Select 310 Lumen Zoom Flashlight. The Nebo REDLINE Select combines maximum performance with extreme convenience and features 310 lumens of intense white light from a single high powered LED. In addition to the steel belt clip, the Redline Select also has a lanyard to make sure it is always within reach. The ergonomic body is suited with heat-sinks which are used to disperse heat from the flashlight during extended periods of time. The signature red ring is now coupled with a stealth ring. To go into stealth mode, simply turn the stealth ring clockwise to block light from shining through the red ring. To improve functionality of the 5 lighting modes, a smart select dial has been added to quickly and conveniently choose your lighting mode while the light is on or off. This feature keeps you from having to cycle through each setting to get to the mode that you need. This flashlight gives you fantastic performance in a small package at a great price.

I have owned a lot of different flashlights over the years in the military from sure fire to the one they issue and for the money this flash light blows them all away. If you need a light it doesn't get much better as far as quality and price.

This flashlight gives me an extremely bright and an almost pinpoint spot. This is what you need when looking for small leak points in roofing. You really don't want to light up a large area. You can concentrate on small areas and not have to worry about surrounding material, hvac, plumbing, electrical equipment etc. But if you need a large area lit up, this great flashlight can do that to. Don’t see a dedicated location for lanyard, so secured it to small clip on side of light. I like the fact that you don’t have to click your way through settings like the previous versions. Really did not have need for S.O.S or strobe effect but it is there and you never know when the occasion may arise.

The 310 lumen is on only when you narrow the focus and the bright area is only in the center of the light circle not the entire area. It appears the wide focus is about 220 lumen which is still bright.
The problem with this flashligt is the mode switch ring is near the battery opening and broke within five minutes of use. Since the mode changing ring broke in the bright mode I kept the light because I do like the magnet at the end to attach on metal above me when I need more light and it is bright enough. I only rate it 3 because it broke otherwise it would be a 5 if the brightest function is all that was offered which again is around 210 lumen.
Look at the Nebo Redline Bike Light it is just as bright but does not have the light mode changing ring instead you turn the light off and on again to go through the three different light cycles and it is just as bright as the 310 except as noted above.
I bought the Nebo Redline Bike Light and rate it a 5 and I am very satisfied with it. I put both flashlights on top of my garbage can in the dark and from a distance the Nebo Redline Bike Light was much brighter so good for night biking or walking.
